Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur paid obeisance at Mata Sri Chintpurni temple in Una district today and prayed for the prosperity of the State. Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma presented him the souvenir and briefed him about the development activities undertaken to improve the facilities for the pilgrims in temple premises. While interacting with the media, at Chintpurni, the Chief Minister blamed the bad financial management of previous Congress governments for derailing the financial condition of the state and said that the present state government was taking appropriate measures to improve the situation. He said that the government had to take loans because of the legacy of the misdeeds of the previous Congress governments. He said that a temple officer would be deputed at Chintpurni temple soon. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar, MLAs Balbir Singh and Rajesh Thakur, Vice Chairman HIMUDA Praveen Sharma, Ex MLA Naveen Dhiman, Vice Chairman HPSIDC Prof. Ram Kumar and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Earlier Chief Minister was accorded rousing welcome at Gondpur Banehra helipad.
