Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today expressed his condolences with the family members of MP Ram Swaroop Sharma by visiting his native village Jalpahar near Jogindernagar in Mandi district. He prayed to the almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
The Chief Minister also attended the last rites of the MP. He was cremated with full state honour at Machhayal where the Chief Minister paid him tributes.
Jai Ram Thakur said that untimely death of Ram Swaroop Sharma was not only a big loss for Mandi parliamentary constituency but also for Himachal Pradesh and Bhartiya Janta party. He would always be remembered for his humbleness, simplicity and dedication.
