CM congratulates H.P. Police for getting Award for CCTNS

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has congratulated Himachal Pradesh Police and Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu for being awarded National Winner Award for Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems  (CCTNS)  under the hilly States category for second year in row by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Chief Minister said that Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems was the backbone of the Police Station working and essential for crime control. He said that Himachal Pradesh Police under the able leadership of DGP Sanjay Kundu has not only ensured optimum use of latest technology in  controlling and tracking crime but also initiated various people friendly schemes in the State for effective policing. He also congratulated Tech Mahindra for playing an effective role of system integrator in the project.
