CM dedicates PSA plants for Bilaspur, Ghumarwin and Arki hospitals

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated circuit house at Chambaghat in Solan district constructed at a cost of about Rs 8 crore.

Later, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated three PSA plants at Regional Hospital Bilaspur, Civil Hospital Ghumarwin and Civil Hospital Arki in Solan district. He also inaugurated Rs. 2.16 crore PSA plant at Regional Hospital Solan set up under the PM Cares.

While addressing the people on this occasion. The Chief Minister said that the 1000 LPM capacity PSA plant at Regional Hospital Bilaspur and 1000 LMP capacity PSA plant at Arki Civil Hospital has been set up under PMCAREs at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore and Rs 1.06 crore respectively. He said that 140 LPM capacity PSA plant at Civil Hospital Ghumarwin has been established by spending an amount of Rs. 1.10 crore under CSR through Vidya Foundation.

Jai Ram Thakur said that earlier there were only two hospitals with oxygen plants, whereas today the State has 15 functional PSA plants, seven plants ready for inauguration and six plants almost nearing completion. In this way, by the end of this month the State would have facility of 28 fully functional oxygen plants, he added.

The Chief Minister congratulated the people on the occasion of Sayar Utsav and wished them a happy and prosperous future.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Rajinder Garg while addressing the event virtually from Shimla said that it was due to the able leadership of the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur that the State succeeded in effectively fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that the initiatives taken by the State Government have even been appreciated at the national level.

MLA Bilaspur Subash Thakur said that the PSA plant at Civil Hospital Bilaspur has been established by spending an amount of Rs 1.50 crore. He said that like other districts of the State, Bilaspur district has also done exceptionally well in vaccination of the targeted group.

Chairman, Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Vikas Sangh Ram Rattan Pal thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating a PSA plant for Arki Civil Hospital.

Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal, State BJP President and MP from Shimla Parliamentary Constituency Suresh Kashyap, MLAs Col. (Dr.) Dhani Ram Shandil and Paramajit Singh Pammi, former MP Virender Kashyap, Chairman, Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank Yogesh Bhartiya, DC Kritika Kulhari and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
