Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family members of the victims of the road accident that took place on Pandoh-Bhakli-Kalhani road on Saturday evening near Kalhani in Seraj Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district, in which four people lost their lives and several others were injured.
Jai Ram Thakur today visited the Zonal Hospital, Mandi to enquire about the well-being of the injured. He directed the hospital administration to provide best possible treatment to the injured. He said that in case the injured requires to be shifted to IGMC, Shimla or PGI Chandigarh, they should be shifted immediately so that they could get timely treatment. Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss. He announced Rs 4 lakh each to the next of the kin of the deceased in this ill-fated accident. Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur, MP Ram Swaroop Sharma, MLA Inder Singh Gandhi and Additional Chief Secretary J.C. Sharma also accompanied the Chief Minister.
