CM inaugurates and lays foundation stone developmental projects worth Rs. 161 crore in Indora Asse
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, after inaugurating and laying foundation stones of 13 developmental projects of worth about Rs. 161 crore at Indora for Indora Assembly Constituency of Kangra district today, addressed a mammoth gathering at Indora and announced opening of Fire Sub Station at Indora, PHC at Sugh Bhatoli, upgradation of PHC Badukhar to CHC, opening of ayurvedic dispensaries at Saniyal and Surajpur, upgradation of Government Primary School Badukhar to Government Middle School, upgradation of Government Middle School Rajakhasa to Government High School, upgradation of Government High Schools Gagwal and Sahauda to Government Senior Secondary Schools, starting of two new trades in Government ITI Gangath, upgradation of veterinary hospital Indora to Polyclinic and upgradation of veterinary dispensary Kandrori to veterinary hospital,
Jai Ram Thakur announced that veterinary dispensary at Gheta would be upgraded as Mukhya Mantri Aarogya Pashu Aushdhalya. He also announced Rs. 10 lakh each for five roads of the area, Rs. 15 lakh for construction of bridge in the area, starting of chemistry classes in Government Degree College Indora, starting of commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School, Mangwal and science classes in Government Senior Secondary School Indora and Rs. 20 lakh for playground at Surdava, He said that efforts would be made to provide Sugar Mill in the area.
Chief Minister said that Rs. 161 crore developmental projects dedicated and foundation stones of which were laid today would go a long way in making Indora Vidhan Sabha area a most developed area of the State. He said that despite the corona pandemic, the State Government succeeded in accelerating the pace of development. He said that the credit of this goes to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who provided free vaccine to 135 crore people of the country. He said that it was due to the vaccination that people of the country were saved from this dreaded virus and an indigenous vaccine was prepared resulting into successful launch of biggest vaccination campaign of the world.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the opposition even did no shy away in politicising this sensitive issue and termed it as BJP vaccine. He said that the same leaders later got themselves vaccinated to save them from this virus. He said that the present State Government has given human face to development. He said that the age limit of availing social security pension without income criteria for the old was first reduced from 80 years to 70 years, which was now further reduced to 60 years in this financial year budget. He said that the Congress did nothing in last fifty years as they were busy enjoying the power. He said that not even a single scheme was started by the Congress which helped the people of the State. He said that on the other hand the BJP started HIMCARE, Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Sahara Yojna, Chief Minister Helpline-1100, Jan Manch, Mukhya Mantri Swavlamban Yojna, Shagun Yojna etc. to provide helping hand to the needy and poor.
Chief Minister said that Congress remained in power for long in the State, but they did nothing new to ensure welfare of the weaker sections of the society. He said that the present State Government has ensured that every policy and programme of the State Government helps and benefits the poor and downtrodden. He said that the Congress leaders were not even able to digest the announcements made by him on the occasion of Himachal Day on 15th of this month. He said that the Congress leaders need not to worry as the State Government would manage this as it was earning Rs. 6000 crore from the power produced in the State and they would manage providing 125 units power free to domestic consumers. He said that the State Government has also announced 50 percent concession in fare in HRTC buses to women passengers.
Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated Rs. 12 crore double lane bridge over Chhounch khad on Bharwain Chintpurni Khatiar Rey Damtal road, Rs. 1.89 crore bridge over Badukhar khad on Badukhar to Bahadpur road, Rs. 11.18 crore upgradation of Bain Indorian Mand Miani Paral road and Rs. 71.60 crore development of State of Art Industry area at Kandrori.
Chief Minister also performed opening ceremonies of Divisional office of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd. at Indora and Sub Tehsil Office at Thakurdwara on the occasion.
Jai Ram Thakur laid foundation stones of seven developmental projects worth Rs. 64.14 crore which includes Rs. 4.33 crore Divisional Office building of PWD Indora, Rs. 8.99 crore newly upgraded Civil Hospital building at Indora, Rs. 17.88 crore Functional Household Tap Connections in various villages of Indora area under Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs. 15.49 crore Functional Household Tap Connections in various villages of Gangath area in Tehsil Indora under Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs. 12.33 crore Functional Household Tap Connections in various villages of Mand area in tehsil Indora under Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs. 3.16 crore Functional Household Tap Connections in various villages of Badukhar area in tehsil Indora under Jal Jeevan Mission and Rs. 1.94 crore Aanaj Mandi Milwan (Indora).
Member of Parliament Kishan Kapoor said that the double engine Government at the Centre and State has ushered an era of progress and prosperity in the State. He said that the State Government under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was ensuring equitable development of the State. He said that the BJP would again form Government in the State.
MLA Indora Reeta Dhiman, while welcoming the Chief Minister to her home constituency said that the Indora Vidhan Sabha Area has witnessed unprecedented development during the last over four years. She said that projects worth crores of rupees were being implemented in the constituency and several institutions have been opened in the area. She said that the Kissan Mandi in the area would go a long way in providing remunerative prices to the farmers of the region. She said that sub tehsil at Thakurdwara would also benefit the people of the area. She also detailed a few developmental demands of the Indora Vidhan Sabha Area.
