Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated and laid foundations of 20 developmental projects worth about Rs. 218 crore at Parwanoo in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area of Solan district today.
While addressing a largely attended public meeting at Parwanoo, Chief Minister announced opening of Jal Shakti Division at Dharampur in Kasauli Assembly Constituency, 20 bedded Sub Divisional Ayurvedic Hospital at Garkhal, veterinary dispensary at Gambarpul (Haripur), veterinary dispensary at Bhojnagar, Ayurvedic Health Centre at Parwanoo. He said that posts of three doctors, two para medical staff and six nurses would be created in 50 bedded hospital, Dharampur, besides creating six posts of doctors in ESI hospital Parwanoo to facilitate the people.
Jai Ram Thakur also announced opening of Sub Health Centres at Kotinamba, village Seri (Neri Kala), village Ran, village Mehalon and village Gaguri. He announced patwar circles at Patta Brori and Tirdo and ITI Jabal Jamrot. He also announced upgradation of Government High School Raudi to Government Senior Secondary School, Government High School Ganol to Government Senior Secondary School, Government Middle Schools Karol, Nerikala, Datyar, Gunai, Chamat Bhadech to Government High Schools, starting of commerce classes in five Government Senior Secondary Schools and Science classes in two Government Senior Secondary Schools in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area. He said that Atal Adarsh School would be set up at Pratha.
Chief Minister announced that Police Chowki Bhojnagar would be made permanent. He said that Kyard village would be included in patwar circle Dharampur to facilitate the people of the village. He said that two HRTC Mudrika buses would be plied in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha constituency to benefit the people of the area.
While launching a scathing attack at the opposition, the Chief Minister said that it was strange that despite unprecedented development in the State, the Congress leaders were not able to digest the progress. He said that the whole nation has completely discarded and rejected the Congress party and it was fighting for its very survival. He said that in the recently concluded assembly elections, the Congress was badly humiliated and in Uttar Pradesh it was able to win only two seats. He said that in Punjab also the Congress was badly defeated. He said that now in the coming elections slated for the month of November this year for Himachal Pradesh, the people of the State would give a befitting reply to the Congress. He said that AAP leaders were also misleading the people of the State, but the people would not get carried away by their false promises.
He said that Parwanoo area has also witnessed all-round development along with other parts of the State. He said that the State Government has initiated several welfare schemes for socio-economic upliftment of the weaker and vulnerable sections of the society. He said that health insurance of Rs. 5 lakh under HIMCARE which has proved a boon to the people of the State, especially the poor and downtrodden.
Jai Ram Thakur said the ‘Shagun Yojna’ has provided a helping hand to the girls of BPL families as Rs. 31,000 was being provided to them at the time of their marriage. He said that youths of the State has immensely benefited under the Mukhya Mantri Swavalamban Yojna as they were getting Rs. 1 crore for starting their own self-employment ventures. He said that for the first time in the history of the State, the government has decided that zero bill would be charged for the electricity consumers upto 125 unit power per month. Going a step forward the State Government has also decided to provide 50 per concession of fare to women passengers in HRTC buses, he added.
Chief Minister said that the country was fortunate to have a strong leadership in the form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has emerged as a world leader. He said that India was poised to emerge as a ‘Vishav Guru’ in the times to come under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier, the Chief Minister performed inaugurations of Rs. 75 lakh PIA Sadan, Gabrial road, Sector-2, Parwanoo, Rs. 11.30 crore widening and upgradation of Barotiwala Mandhala-Parwanoo road, Rs. 4.30 crore pre-fabricated Zonal Leprosy Hospital at Lohanji, Rs. 55 lakh Oxygen Plant for ESI Hospital at Parwanoo, Rs. 1.27 crore augmentation of LWSS Seoth Kamlog and its adjoining villages GP Neri Kalan tehsil Solan, Rs. 48 lakh additional accommodation in Inspection Hut at Barog, Rs. 56 lakh office building and Type-II quarters for Assistant State Excise and Taxation Office at Dharampur, Rs. 84 lakh Type-II quarters in Police Chowki Garkhal tehsil Kasauli and Rs. 21.70 crore Hotel New Ros Common Kasauli.
Chief Minister laid foundation stones Rs. 5.18 crore arch bridge double lane alongwith footpath over Gamber khad on Shalaghat Arki Kunihar Barotiwala road, Rs. 2.80 crore bridge over Kaushlya khad on Bhojanagar to Chakki ka Mod road, Rs. 6 crore double lane bridge alongwith footpath over Kamli khad on Parwanoo Khadeen Banasar Bhojnagar road, Rs. 90 lakh Type-III quarter at Police Station Dharampur, Rs. 17.50 crore 50 bedded additional block at CHC Dharampur, Rs. 104.03 crore WSS to various villages of Kasauli Assembly Constituency from Giri river, Rs. 37.03 crore augmentation of LWSS Satiayan Shiva, LWSS Garkhal Larah, LWSS Sunardi Anji, LWSS Gorthi, LWSS Seri Thana, GWSS Kasauli, GWSS Jangeshu, GWSS Jhanger, LWSS Hurang Kotla, LWSS Bhaguri, Rs. 90 lakh LWSS Up Mohal Naryala and Up Mohal Chandraini GP Taksal and Jangeshu, Rs. 91 lakh remodelling of LWSS Tarol and Kiarwa Sihardi in GP Bhojnagar, Rs. 50 lakh augmentation of LWSS Bastala Bueli and Haripur Udaypur GP Bhojnagar and Rs. 48 lakh HIM Era cafe and Rural Mart, Sanwara at Mangoti.
Member of Parliament, Shimla Parliamentary Area and State BJP President Suresh Kashyap endorsed the developmental demands raised by the Health Minister Rajiv Saizal for the area. He said that the double engine Governments at the Centre and State has ensured that the pace of development goes uninterrupted despite the pandemic. He said that Chief Minister has announced fifty percent concession in bus fare in HTRC buses for women and also 125 unit free power to the consumers.
Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal, while welcoming the Chief Minister in his home constituency, said that the area has witnessed unprecedented development during the last over four years under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He said that the present State Government had successfully tackled the covid pandemic situation and Himachal Pradesh emerged as a role model for other States of the country in containing the spread of the pandemic and also in vaccination drive. He said that Rs. 104.03 crore WSS to various villages of Kasauli Constituency from Giri river, foundation stone of which was laid by the Chief Minister today on completion would go a long way in solving the water problem of the area. He said that SDM Office at Kasauli was also possible due to the benevolence of the Chief Minister. He also detailed a few developmental demands of the area.
Chairperson State Women Commission Dr. Daizy Thakur also welcomed the Chief Minister and detailed various developmental projects being executed in the constituency during the last four years.
