A deputation of Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Services Employees Association led by its President Sanjeev Sharma and General Secretary Kamal Krishan Sharma called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today and urged the Chief Minister to reduce the contract period from three years to two years for regularizing the services of contract employees.
Another deputation of Himachal Pradesh Sarv Anubandh Karamchari Mahasangh led by its State President Arun Kumar Bhardwaj met the Chief Minister and also requested him to regularize the services of contract employees in two years instead of three years to benefit the employees.
Chief Minister assured the deputations that Government would consider their demands sympathetically.
