Governor expresses grief over Kinnaur landslide incident

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has said that he was deeply saddened over the incident of massive landslide near Nugulsari in Kinnaur district in which many persons are feared to be trapped under the debris.

The Governor said that the state government was making all out efforts to rescue the trapped persons as the Army, National Disaster Response Force and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police have been sent to the spot to conduct rescue operations.

He said that the state government was with the affected families in this hour of crisis and would provide all possible assistance to them.

The Governor expressed hope that all trapped persons would be rescued safely.
