Governor releases book titled Arya (Shreshtha) Bharat
Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar released the book Arya (Shreshtha) Bharat written by Inder Singh Dogra at Raj Bhavan today. Through the book, the author has tried to show the true facts of Indian history.
On the occasion, the Governor appreciated the efforts of the author and said that the book bears testimony to the sacrifice of the Indian people at the hands of the Mughal and English forces. He said that the author has written this book in a very authentic way by combining the facts of history with geography, which shows the relationship between two. He said that this book inspires to write correct and authentic historiography instead of confusing the history of India.
Inder Singh Dogra hails from Bilaspur district. At present, he is also the guide of the Indian History Compilation Planning Committee, Himachal Pradesh.
Ganesh Dutt, Chairman, HIMFED, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal, Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, Vivek Bhatia, Secretary to Governor and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
