One accused of Dharamshala Vidhan Sabha incident arrested: CM

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said here today that the State Police has made a major breakthrough in the Dharamshala Vidhan Sabha episode by apprehending one accused Harvir Singh S/o Rajinder Singh from Punjab today morning. He said that the accused has confessed to have put the Khalistani Flag and graffiti on the outer wall of HP Vidhan Sabha complex at Dharamshala.

Chief Minister said that the search for the second accused Vaneet Singh jointly by H.P. Police and Punjab Police was on and he would also be arrested soon.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State police, in this process, has followed “rule of law” and “due process” and got the “search and arrest warrant’ from the Competent Court in Dharamshala.
