Shimla, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs & Food & Public Distribution and Textiles Piyush Goel commenced his three day visit in himachal pradesh.
He was warmly welcomed by chief minister Jairam Thakur and State BJP Chief Suresh Kashyap.
He attended various programmes under seva aur samarpan abhiyan in shimla which consisted of tree plantation, cleanliness drive, visit to a vaccination centre and attending a blood donation camp.
Piyush goel said that Prime minister Narendra Modi has appealed that his birthday shall be celebrated as a mark of service to mankind , thus we all habe also adopted the same.
He said there are thousands of programmes being organised under the banner of seva aur samarpan abhiyan in state , lakhs of workers are working in the country and crores of people are attached to this drive directly or indirectly.
He said that there have been a long connection between me and chief minister Jairam Thakur we have worked together for 32 years.
He said that the state president suresh kashyap is also doing a fabulous Job to strengthen the party and to develop his parliament.
He said that Himachal is a small state by the progress rate as per development is remarkable. While congratulating the chief minister he said himachal has stood 1st in the country in first dose vaccination to the people and the second dose will also be completed till November thus making himachal agaij number one is second dose vaccination.
He said i have a deeo connection with himachal as my grandmother is from sabathu.
