State Election Commissioner stresses on error free updation of electoral rolls
State Election Commissioner Anil Khachi held a virtual meeting in view to the upcoming general election in district Lahaul- Spiti and sub division Pangi in district Chamba with concerned Deputy Commissioners, Secretary, State Election Commission, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kaza and Residential Commissioner Pangi.
State Election Commissioner stressed on effective and error free execution of updation work of electoral rolls. He said the preparedness of election must be done as per covid-19 protocol. He also reviewed availability of electoral material, postal ballets and expected weather. He said that preparedness regarding the election has been completed.
Anil Khachi said the Commission has decided to conduct election on vacant posts of Panchayati Raj Institutions of the State along with elections in tribal areas and updation of electoral roll of vacant posts has also been started.
