With the commissioning of this grid sub-station, three grid sub-stations, including 66 KV sub-station grain market, 66 KV sub-station Raipur and 66 KV sub-station Kotli, will get relief for regulating better power supply.

The Ramgarh Bhudda grid is connected to the underground 66 KV by tapping the 66 KV Banur-Bhabat line at Supply Aerocity. Cable 240mm 2 is provided through approximately 4.6 km. 20 MVA from Ramgarh Bhudda Grid Capacity No. 1: 66/11 KV Transformer has been installed.

From this grid 6 nos feeders 11 KV lines would be installed to provide good power supply to about 30,000 consumers residing in VIP Road, Ambala Road, Singhpura, Chhat, Ramgarh, Bisanpura, Nagla Road etc. areas of Zirakpur city.

With the construction of this grid, the load at 66 KV grid Bhabat and Dhakoli 66 KV grid sub-station would be reduced which would also provide more reliable supply to the area under these grids.
