Aruna Chaudhary Demands More Drones For Early Completion Of ‘Mera Ghar Mere Naam’ Scheme

Apart From Physical Cards, Digital Cards For Proprietary Rights Be Provided Through Specified Website

For Ensuring Proprietary Rights To The People Of The State Within Lal Lakir At The Earliest, Punjab Revenue, Rehabilitation And Disaster Management Minister Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary, On Wednesday Demanded More Drones To Expedite Mapping In Villages Under ‘Mera Ghar Mere Naam’ Scheme.

Presiding Over A High Level Meeting With The Officials Of Survey Of India At Punjab Bhawan Here, Mrs. Chaudhary Said The State Needs An Adequate Quantity Of Drones To Speed Up Digital Mapping In All Districts, While Directing To Start The Survey Across The State By December End. She Also Instructed To Set Targets For The Teams On Daily Basis.

Mrs. Chaudhary Asserted The Scheme Is A Revolutionary Step Towards Creating A Proprietary Right As Well As Resolving All The Property Disputes Besides Extending Benefits Of Government Welfare Schemes And Credit Facilities Of Banks. She Informed That District Level Committees (Dlcs) And Village Level Committees (Vlcs) Have Been Formed To Resolve All The Issues At The Local Level. “Dlcs Headed By Concerned Deputy Commissioners While Vlcs Comprising Sdms, Bdpos And Panchayat Members Are Settling Down Disputes”, Said The Minister Instructing The Officials To Resolve Objections In Stipulated Time Frame So That Proprietary Rights Could Be Accorded Accordingly.

The Cabinet Minister Directed Revenue Officials To Provide Physical Cards For The Proprietary Rights As Well As The Same Would Be Provided Digitally On The Specified Website Which Would Be Made Available By December 20, 2021. On This Occasion, Special Secretary Keshav Hingonia Informed That A Survey Has Been Completed In 335 Villages Of Gurdaspur District, 101 Villages Of Rupnagar And 61 Villages Of Bathinda District, Besides Survey Has Been Initiated Recently In Districts Fatehgarh Sahib And Ludhiana. Officials Of Survey Of India Acquainted The Minister That Three More Teams Would Be Available Within A Week For Drone Survey.

Special Chief Secretary Revenue Mr. Vijay Kumar Janjua And Secretary Revenue Mr. Manvesh Singh Sidhu Were Also Present.
