In order to retain the first position achieved by Punjab in the field of education, the school education secretary Mr. Krishan Kumar called upon the teachers to discharge their responsibilities with more dedication, hard work and determination.
Launching a two-day training program for primary teachers of government schools across the state today, the school education secretary also lauded the role played by the teachers during Covid-19 pandemic . Mr. Krishan Kumar launched this block level training program through online webinar. All the district education officers, block primary education officers, ‘Parho Punjab, Paraho Punjab’ district coordinators, block master trainers, cluster master Trainers and about 10000 Primary Teachers of 228 Blocks are taking part in this workshop. While encouraging all the officers, school heads and teachers, he also congratulated them for taking the Punjab on top position in the country in the field of education. He said that the enrollment has increased due to the tireless efforts of the teachers. Even during the horrific period of the Covid-19 epidemic, the teachers have done a great job for the bright future of the students by imparting online education. Mr. Krishan Kumar said that the purpose of this training workshop was to provide information on the work to be done by Punjab to retain the first position and to make a complete plan for the National Achievement Survey-2021.
