CEO updates Deputy Election Commissioner ECI regarding poll preparedness for the General Elections to the Punjab Legislative Assembly 2022

An online review meeting was taken by Sh. Nitesh Kumar Vyas, IAS, by Deputy Election Commissioner Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding poll preparedness for the forth coming, General Elections to the Punjab Legislative Assembly 2022.
In this meeting, apart from Chief Electoral officer, Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju IAS and his team, all the Deputy Commissioners of 23 Districts of Punjab participated.
The CEO Dr. S. Karuna Raju IAS gave a presentation on the poll preparedness of the State Machinery for General Elections 2022 to Punjab Legislative Assembly. The Deputy Election Commissioner Sh. Nitesh Kumar Vyas, IAS, Election Commission of india gave directions after the presentation to all the DC’s and SSP’s must ensure that every aspect of Polling/Elections is in order up to the booth level, focus is to be placed on voters new registration of age between 18-21 years and special summary revision of voter lists to be done, Special focus be placed on carrying on all the SVEEP activities, all the activities connected with Electoral rolls and EPIC must be completed at the earliest.
