CHANDIGARH, November 12:
Giving a major relief to large number of people who have purchased plots/buildings in unauthorized colonies, Housing and Urban Development department today decided that no NOC is required for getting sale deed registered for the plots/buildings purchased by way of sale deed in the colonies that came into existence before 08.09.1995.
Divulging the details, Housing and Urban Development Minister Mr. Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria instructed to the concerned officers to take decision on pending applications of NOCs received under the policy issued in 2018 within two months positively.
However, for plots/buildings purchased (by way of sale deed/power of attorney/sale agreement or lease in case of commercial built up) between 09.09.1995 to 19.03.2018, NOC only for the purpose of allowing sale deed would be issued immediately by the concerned authority on the basis of self-declaration signed jointly by the seller and the buyer and on payment of regularization fee. Self-declaration shall include that plot/ building does not violate the provisions/conditions of the policy issued by the department in the year 2018 for regularization of plots falling in unauthorized colonies, he added.
