Parent-teacher meetings on March 2nd

The Punjab School Education Department has directed to the teachers to conduct parent-teacher meetings in all the government schools on March 2, 2021 to prepare the primary school students under ‘Mission shat-pratishat’.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the school education department said that a letter has been issued by the Director SCERT in this regard. The main objective of these meetings is to prepare the students for the ‘Mission shat-pratishat’. During the meetings, the teachers are asked to share all the information about the children to their parents regarding their health care, the assessment for the month of February, the date sheet of the annual examinations to be held in March. At the same time instructions have been given to make the parents aware about the commencement of the next academic session and the steps taken by the department for the quality of education.
Meanwhile, the teachers have been directed to follow the instructions issued regarding Covid-19 during these meetings.
