  • ASSURES THEM TO ENSURE TIMELY COMPLETION OF ONGOING DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS BESIDES IMPLEMENTATION OF PRO-PEOPLE INITIATIVES

Chandigarh, October 13:

The Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has asked the MLAs to organize Suwidha Camps with the help of District Administrations for quick redressal of the people’s grievances in order to instill their confidence in the state governance.

Channi however said that clean, transparent, and corruption free administration is the hall mark of his government and none of any person from the state should feel ignored as far as his/her day to day problems are concerned.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister held one to one detailed interaction with nearly 60 MLAs to get feedback from them regarding the various development and welfare schemes being implemented in their assembly segments during these 2-days brain-storming sessions.

Responding to the various issues raised by the MLAs during these delebrations, the Chief Minister assured them of prompt redressal of their grievances on the priority. He said the completion of ongoing development works besides implementation of welfare schemes in the right earnest to ensure wellbeing of all sections of society especially the people at the grass roots level in a time bound manner. Channi also requested the MLAs to personally supervise the development projects in their respective constituencies to monitor their progress for timely completion.

The Chief Minister also asked the MLAs to review the progress of different welfare schemes within their constituencies so that the benefits of these pro-people initiatives taken by the Government must reach to the last person standing in the row.
