Addressing A Function Organized In Raman Hans Ministry Here To Mark Christmas, The Cm Channi Said That Punjab Government Would Setup A Chair To Undertake Extensive Study & Research On The Teachings Of Lord Jesus And Holy Bible. He Said That This Chair Would Be Established In One Of The Universities In The State. He Also Handed Over A Cheque Of Rs. 10 Lakh To Raman Hans Ministry On The Occasion.
Giving A Clarion Call To People Of All Sections Of The Society For Celebrating This Pious Occasion In Unison, Cm Channi Said That The Christmas Is A Sacred Occasion Not Only For Christians But For People Of All Religions And Faiths. He Said That Lord Jesus Demonstrated The Path Of Peace, Love, Harmony And Brotherhood A Long Back, Which Is Still Relevant In Contemporary Times.
The Chief Minister Also Announced A Financial Aid Of Rs. 10 Lakh During The Function Organized By The Voice Of Peace Ministry. Sacred Occasions Like Christmas Further Strengthen The Communal Harmony And Brotherhood, Said The Cm Channi Adding That These Religious Celebrations Also Motivate Society For Welfare Of Humanity.
