Chandigarh, June 9:
With an aim to provide assistance to Punjab Prisons amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ‘Raj Vidya Kendra’ has come forward by donating Covid rescue items for the benefit of prisoners as well as staff deployed in various prisons of Punjab.
Disclosing this, an official spokesperson said that the NGO today donated 5000 masks, 500 N-95 masks, 50 PPE kits, 300 pairs of gloves, 200 face shields and 100 liters of sanitizer in the presence of ADGP (Prisons) Praveen Kumar Sinha.
It is worth mentioning that ‘Raj Vidya Kendra’ is a non-profitable organization which has conducted numerous programs across the world for the benefit of mankind, which includes strengthening of mental health as well as aid in disaster management. Besides, Premsagar Foundation is also assisting in the work being done by ‘Raj Vidya kendra’.
On the occasion, ADGP Sinha expressed graritude to the organization for donating COVID rescue items and also appreciated the yeoman’s service being rendered by this organization across the globe.
