· Lucky winner submits documents for encashment of prize money
Chandigarh, September 10:
Punjab Police Assistant Sub Inspector, Gurmeet Singh, won the first prize of Punjab State Dear Rakhi Bumper 2021. The Lotteries Department had announced the results of the Rakhi Bumper on August 26 and the first prize of Rs.2 crore went to ticket no. B-946267.
Gurmeet Singh, hailed from Gurdaspur district, had purchased the ticket from Nayagaon in SAS Nagar district.
After submitting the ticket and required documents to the State Lotteries Department here for encashment of the prize money, the lucky winner said that he will spend the money over the education of his children as he wants to provide them the best education.
Punjab State Lotteries Department officials assured the winner that the prize money will be credited to his account soon.
