Rana Sodhi releases coffee table book depicting spiritual journey of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib
Chandigarh, May 5:
Punjab Sports, Youth Services and NRIs Affairs Minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, on Wednesday, released the Coffee Table Book depicting spiritual journey of Ninth Sikh Master, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Praising the efforts, Rana Sodhi said that this book has a great significance at the moment when we are celebrating the 400th Prakash Purb of Ninth Guru Sahib with great zeal and fervour. He said that this Book titled “Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” depicts the pious journey of Guru Sahib from his birth till unparalleled martyrdom.
The Sports Minister said, Guru Sahib’s teachings of religious tolerance, freedom of faith, love, compassion, sacrifice and valour has gained immensely significance in contemporary times when communal and divisive forces have proactively indulged in creating division in society.
The Cabinet Minister also applauded the sincere efforts of Punjab based lawyer Harpreet Sandhu and Pro. S.S. MARWAHA, who compiled the book, adding that this pious work is a sacred memory of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, who left a deep imprint of his personality and trails in the annals of our history. He said that book will be of immense interest, which has been beautifully portrayed through the pictorial visuals of the holy shrines, where Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib left his foot prints.
