Tightening noose on tax evading private bus operators to streamline state transport sector: Raja Warring
Chandigarh, October 11:
As many as 13 more unauthorized private buses have been impounded by the Transport Department officials in Faridkot, Ludhiana and Patiala districts today. Following the directions of Transport Minister Mr. Amarinder Singh Raja Warring 5 buses of New Deep and one each of Orbit, Travel Point, RS Yadav, Libra, Nagpal, Dabwali, Guru Nanak and Northen have been impounded today for flouting norms.
Meanwhile, Transport Minister Mr. Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, said that checking drive would continue till every single bus plying illegally should be under their net. He said that he has issued strict directions to tighten the noose on tax evading private bus operators to streamline the state transport sector.
The Transport Minister warned the tax evading private bus operators to pay their dues and complete the documentation of the passenger vehicles at the earliest, adding that no tax evader would be spared at any cost.
