Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) organised free medical camp in Doda Khallani, Jammu

Hundreds of people from far-flung areas reached the free medical camp organised by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) as part of their ‘Medical Civic Action Programme’ in Khellani village in Doda district. Trained doctors were present during the camp and checked the patients in the camp conducted on Tuesday. The doctors prescribed and provided them with free medicines.

Meanwhile, Dr Brijesh Kumar SSB Commandant (medical), said that the force always makes efforts to connect with people for the progress of the country.We have organised this camp for the benefit of poor women, old and ailing people. We always make efforts to connect with people for the progress of county,” he said.

Thanking the SSB for their efforts, Gulam Ali told, “I thank the SSB for organising such camp and giving free medical care to poor people of the area as we cannot afford costly medicines. We want SSB should continue with this endeavour for poor people in future. The SSB has conducted such beneficial camps in Khellani area earlier as well. Due to the medical camp, many people were benefited and people want many more such camps to be organised in the remote areas for the benefit of poor people who cannot afford proper medication”
