The team of Health Department, Faridabad has got another success in curbing the sex determination racket. Civil Surgeon Dr. Vinay Gupta got information that illegal sex test business is running in Ranhola area of Vikas Nagar, Delhi.

- Chandigarh, August 8. The team of Health Department, Faridabad has got another success in curbing the sex determination racket. Civil Surgeon Dr. Vinay Gupta got information that illegal sex test business is running in Ranhola area of Vikas Nagar, Delhi. Where Poonam and Rajni take pregnant women for sex determination test.
- According to the information received, the Health Department team prepared a decoy customer and contacted Poonam and settled the deal for Rs. 32,000/-.
- An official spokesperson said that Poonam called the decoy customer to Balaji Hospital in Ranhola, Delhi. From there Poonam took the customers to the nearest Sun Life lab to Dr. Ankit and got her ultrasound done.
- Outside, Poonam told the woman in the codeword that everything is fine. (Means she has a boy in her womb). As soon as the decoy customer signal was received, the joint team of Faridabad and Delhi raid the lab for investigation. The deal money was recovered along with broker Poonam and the lab operator who was caught on the spot. Along with this, the team also found irregularities in the PNDT Act in the lab. Poonam, Rajni, Dr. Ankit and Bimlesh and owner of the Lab were handed over to the police after sealing the centre and an FIR has been lodged in the police station, he said.
