As part of the ongoing efforts to promote research and improve the quality of research work, JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad today awarded ‘Research Award’ to 21 teachers and researchers.
- Chandigarh, April 19 – As part of the ongoing efforts to promote research and improve the quality of research work, JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad today awarded ‘Research Award’ to 21 teachers and researchers. Under the award in the research policy of the University, there is a provision of merit certificates and cash prizes ranging from Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 5 Lakh for publication of research papers which are listed by the university in Science Citation Index (SCI) or Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) Research Journals listed as per University Research Policy.
- The award ceremony was organized online by the University, under the Commendable Research Award for the year 2019-20. Cash rewards were given for 17 selected research papers authored by the faculty and research scholars of the University during the year 2019-20.
- Prof. Christian Gloeggler from HS Ulm University, Germany, who is also a Researcher at Mercedes Benz Stuttgart, Germany was the Chief Guest and Prof. Joachim Ahrens, Head of International Affairs, PFH University Goettingen, Germany was Guest of Honour in the Award Ceremony. The Program was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dinesh Kumar. Founder and CEO of Yes Germany, Dr.Gagan Syal, was also present on this occasion.
