WICCI (Chandigarh) organized its Annual Conclave to celebrate Women Empowerment

Women’s Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), Chandigarh Council organized its Annual Conclave for the year 2021 on 26 November 2021 at CII, Northern Region, Sector 31 Chandigarh.

The event has been designed for rising women leaders from various sectors of industries and is highly driven by Women.

The event was hosted by U.T. President for WICCI, Mrs. Deepika Bahri and co-hosted by the Presidents and Vice Presidents of eight councils under the Chandigarh U.T. Council.

The event was kick-started by the students of Ashiana Children’s Home, the Haryana State Branch of Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) who performed Gita chanting and gave an auspicious beginning to the event.

Mrs Raj Bala Malik, Ex-Mayor, Chandigarh who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour and Mrs Deepika Bahri, President, proceeded for the lighting of the lamp.

The event witnessed the presence of distinguished Speakers Col. Aparjeet S Nakai, who served the Army for 22 years; Dr Vibha Taluja, President of Ashi Haryana and Kajal Mangalmukhi, President of Mangalmukhi Transgender and Mrs Manjula Sularia, Life Skills Coach and Director of Prasanchetas Foundation. The event was packed with powerful performances. The students of Prasanchetas Foundation performed a flash mob and nukkar-natak.

The Skill Development Council of WICCI U.T. Chandigarh, headed by President Mrs Seema Gupta, performed a mime on ‘Pan-Genders are Human Too’, which was scripted and directed by Mrs Shivangi Bansal, Vice President of the Skill Development Council.

Mr Anuj Gupta, Director, Atulaya Health Care also graced the occasion and praise the event.

 

Mr Amit Mann from Niine represented the company and said the company is always there to support these kinds of events.


The Principal of Swami Devi Dyal College and President of Human Rights Council, WICCI Chandigarh was honoured with a memento for her kind contributions to ‘Project Kunji’, a book-collection drive. Towards the end of the event, Mrs Seema Gupta, President, Skill Development Council said a few words of appreciation for the U.T. President, Mrs Deepika Bahri and invited her on stage to facilitate her with a memento.

The power-packed event saw an even better end when all the members joined hands to dance to the beautiful and apt lyrics of Oh! Womaniya.

The event was supported by Atulaya Healthcare, Niine sanitary napkins, Gurunanak Sweets, Eateducator and Radio Punjab.
