The Realme X50 Pro 5G launch day has arrived

The Realme X50 Pro 5G, India’s first 5G phone has been launched on Monday, which is February 24, 2020. This phone has been launched online only for those who are interested. It was originally scheduled to be unveiled globally,  but due to the spread of the virus, the company had to change the plan at the eleventh hour, and the launch has been done online. The interesting fact is that the launch of the Realme X50 Pro 5G has launched a day ahead of the unveiling of the IQOO 3, which would have been the first 5G phone in India as Realme had not announced the event for today.

The launch event of Realme X50 has been started at 2:30 pm IST on Monday, that is February 24, 2020. The will begin in Madrid as well. Since this is an online-only event, the interested may tune-in to the Youtube channel of Realme India

Focus on 5G

The Realme X50 Pro 5G has been touted to be the first 5G smartphone in India. While this is an interesting part that India has not even rolled out the 5G connectivity yet. The interesting fact is that there is no 5G infrastructure readily available in the country. 

Expected Price

The Realme X50 Pro 5G will be the smartphone, which is going by the umpteen teasers that have been confirmed at the high-end internals. Mobile phones are available on Flipkart at the rate of Rs 37,999. 

Realme X50 Pro 5G: Specifications

Talking about the specifications, the Realme X50 Pro 5G is going to rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. It will come with a 90Hz display sporting a dual punch-hole design. There are four rear cameras on the device, comprising a 64-megapixel sensor along with a sensor that offers 20x zoom. For selfies, there are two cameras inside the punch-hole, one of which is a 32-megapixel sensor.

Realme X50 Pro 5G supports dual-mode 5G (NSA and SA) out of the box, and while it means less to the fraction of Indian consumers, the other fraction could use it when they travel to the parts of the world already facilitated by 5G networks. Realme is also touting the 65W SuperDart Charge fast charging technology on the smartphone.
