An Indian-origin doctor in Ohio’s Toledo has been sentenced to jail in a disturbing case.
The doctor, identified as Advait Deshmukh, received a six-month prison sentence.
He was found guilty of secretly recording women inside a hospital restroom.
Authorities discovered a hidden phone placed inside a box.
The recordings were made in a staff-only area.
Deshmukh pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including voyeurism.
During sentencing, he apologized to the victims.
The court also ordered him to register as a sex offender for 15 years.
