Amid Rising Coronavirus Fears, Doda Administration Invokes Section 144

Doda 12.03.2020:- People of Doda district got a relief today when reports of all the four suspected Corona virus patients turned out to be negative and they were told to return home from quarantine centre at district hospital Doda.

But the threat continues to loom large over the entire region and administration has geared up to aware people of the precautions related to this deadly disease.

“This morning the reports of all the four suspected patients were received and thankfully all turned out to be negative. But we request people that if anybody has the travel history outside India and shows some symptoms of Corona virus, he should immediately report to the nearest hospital,” Dr Sagar D Diofode  Deputy Commissioner Doda told.

Meanwhile, the district administration Doda has taken several steps which included the imposition of section 144 in the district which was aimed at stopping the congregation of more than four people. DC Doda ordered the imposition of section 144 and said that violators will be dealt with strongly.

“We have already ordered closures of all the educational institutions including schools and colleges and private tuition centers and if anybody violates these orders, he will be booked according to the law,” DC Doda told
