1990 ਬੈਚ ਦੇ ਆਈ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨਿਰੁੱਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵਿਨੀ ਮਹਾਜਨ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਾਰਜਭਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

A 1990-batch IAS officer, Mr Anirudh Tewari joined as Punjab Chief Secretary. He took the charge as the new state Chief Secretary replacing Ms Vini Mahajan, who has now been posted as Special Chief Secretary.
