Zomato and Swiggy will Start Delivery in Chandigarh From Today
Chandigarh Administration in order has issued a new timing regarding the supply of Essential items in the city.
As per the order signed by Kamal Kishor Yadav, IAS, Commissioner Municipality. All the essential commodities can be purchased from the nearby market from 11 am to 3 pm in place of 10 am to 6 pm in order to curb the COVID-19.
Also, one person per house shall be allowed to visit the market.
As per the notification Home delivery of Groceries, Kiryana, Meat, chicken, Fish, Fruit, and Vegetables can delivered at doorsteps between 9 am to 9 pm. This is strictly for home delivery only.
Also, the notification says Milk and Eggs can be 5 am to 9 pm. This is strictly for home delivery only.
The new timings of Home delivery will be over and above the relaxation of 11 am to 3 pm.
On-Line delivery companies Zomato and Swiggy will also be delivering essential commodities.
