Renovation Cost of UK Cottage Once Gifted to an Indian – The Frogmore cottage that was presented by Queen Victoria as a royal gift to Abdul Karim as a gesture of affection towards him has recently been refurbished. The refurbishment cost amounting to 2.4 million pounds, has been paid into the Sovereign Grant by Britain’s Prince Harry. His spokesperson confirmed the same. This was announced days after the couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, made 112 million pounds deal with the online streaming platform, Netflix, to create content which not just informs but also gives hope. The cottage was presented by Queen Elizabeth as a wedding gift to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. It is indicative of the beautiful relation Abdul and Queen Victoria had where she referred to him as her ‘Munshi’ and Urdu teacher.
