A shocking incident took place in Hansi, Haryana, on Thursday morning when a 25-year-old gym owner, identified as Deepak, was shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants while conducting a workout session outside his gym. The attack occurred around 5:30 a.m. near Fawwara Chowk and has created fear and concern among local residents.
According to reports, Deepak was training several students, including young men and women, when two attackers arrived on a motorcycle. CCTV footage shows the assailants approaching the group before opening fire. Within a few seconds, they allegedly fired around ten rounds at the gym owner. Several bullets struck Deepak in the head and back, causing critical injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. A woman present during the workout session was also reportedly injured in the firing.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed nearby. The footage has since gone viral on social media, showing people running for safety as gunshots rang out. Police teams immediately reached the scene and launched an investigation. Authorities are examining CCTV footage and gathering evidence to identify and arrest the attackers.
Initial reports suggest that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the murder, although police are still verifying the authenticity of those claims. Investigators are exploring all possible motives behind the attack, including gang rivalry and personal enmity. The incident has raised fresh concerns about gang-related violence in Haryana and the safety of citizens in public spaces.
