A disturbing incident has come to light from Kaithal district, where a motorcycle rider allegedly took two minor girls nearly 18 kilometers away after offering to drop them at a railway station. The incident has raised concerns among local residents and prompted a police investigation.
According to preliminary information, the two girls were waiting to reach a railway station when a man on a motorcycle approached them. He reportedly offered to help and assured them that he would drop them at the station. Trusting his words, the girls agreed to ride with him.
However, instead of taking them to the station, the rider allegedly drove in a different direction and covered a distance of around 18 kilometers. The girls became suspicious when they realized they were moving away from their intended destination. They reportedly questioned the rider about the route.
Sources said the girls managed to alert people in the area after reaching a location far from the station. Local residents intervened and informed the authorities. The motorcycle rider reportedly fled the spot before police arrived.
Police Launch Investigation
After receiving information, police teams reached the location and recorded statements from the girls and their family members. Officers have started an investigation to identify and trace the suspect.
Police officials said they are examining nearby CCTV footage and gathering evidence from the route taken by the rider. They have also appealed to the public to share any information that could help in locating the accused.
