Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2026

The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 has been postponed once again by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). According to the revised schedule, the examination will now be conducted on July 4 and July 5, 2026. The decision has been taken to ensure smoother arrangements and better management of the large number of candidates expected to appear for the state-level teacher eligibility examination.

HTET is a mandatory qualification for candidates seeking teaching positions in government and government-aided schools across Haryana. The exam is conducted in three levels: Level 1 for Primary Teachers (PRT), Level 2 for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Level 3 for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT).

The postponement has provided additional preparation time for thousands of aspirants across the state. Education experts believe the extended period will help candidates revise important subjects, strengthen weak areas, and improve their overall performance in the examination.

The Board has informed candidates that admit cards will be released shortly on the official HTET website. Applicants will be able to download their hall tickets using their registration credentials. Candidates are advised to regularly check official notifications for updates regarding examination centers, reporting times, and other important instructions.

Authorities have also urged candidates to carefully verify details mentioned on their admit cards once released and report any discrepancies immediately. Strict examination guidelines and security measures are expected to be implemented to ensure a fair and transparent conduct of the test.

With the revised dates now announced, candidates can focus on their final preparations for one of Haryana’s most important teacher recruitment eligibility examinations.
