Majitha: Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia will appear at Majitha Police Station today at 12:30 PM as part of an ongoing investigation. He will join the probe in compliance with court directions.

Police accuse Majithia of helping a supporter leave the police station forcibly and of obstructing government officials while they carried out their duties. Following these allegations, police registered a case against him.

The matter has drawn considerable political attention across Punjab, with supporters and political opponents closely tracking every development. Today’s appearance marks a significant step in the investigation, as authorities continue to examine evidence and verify the allegations.

An Amritsar court granted anticipatory bail to Bikram Singh Majithia on June 15, protecting him from arrest while directing him to cooperate with investigators. In line with the court’s order, Majithia will now appear before the police and participate in the inquiry.

Investigators will continue their probe after his appearance and may take further action based on the evidence and findings that emerge during the investigation. The case remains under scrutiny, and political observers expect more developments in the coming days.
