Chandigarh/Rohtak: Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has accused the BJP government of allowing corruption in state recruitment. He claimed that influential people are securing jobs through money and connections instead of merit.

Speaking to reporters, Hooda said recent allegations and a viral audio clip have raised serious concerns about the recruitment process. He alleged that some individuals are treating government jobs as commodities and using unfair means to secure appointments.

The Congress leader said Haryana’s youth deserve a transparent recruitment system. He argued that repeated controversies have damaged trust among job aspirants. Many candidates spend years preparing for competitive examinations. According to Hooda, recurring disputes have created uncertainty and frustration among them.

Hooda also targeted the BJP government over unemployment. He said the state has failed to create enough opportunities for young people. He claimed that many educated youths continue to struggle despite promises of large-scale employment.

The former chief minister expanded his criticism to economic issues. He alleged that industrial activity has slowed in several areas of Haryana. He argued that the government must focus on attracting investment and generating jobs.

The Congress leader urged the government to ensure transparency in every recruitment process. He also demanded accountability in cases where questions have emerged over examinations and appointments.

The BJP has consistently defended its recruitment policies. The party says it follows a merit-based system and works to create employment opportunities for the state’s youth.

The latest exchange has intensified the political debate over jobs and recruitment in Haryana. Employment remains one of the most important issues for voters, especially young job seekers preparing for government positions.
