One of the most significant developments is the launch of Haryana’s first barrierless toll plaza on National Highway-44 at Bastara. The new Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) system allows vehicles to pass through toll points without stopping, using FASTag and automatic number plate recognition technology. The project is expected to reduce traffic congestion, save fuel, and improve travel efficiency for thousands of commuters using the national highway network every day.

At the same time, Haryana is preparing to become a major electronics manufacturing destination. The state has drafted new Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and E-Waste Recycling policies. These initiatives aim to attract investments worth nearly ₹10,000 crore and generate around 75,000 jobs over the next five years. The policies focus on electronics production, innovation, exports, and environmentally sustainable recycling practices, supporting India’s broader manufacturing ambitions.

The state administration is also strengthening transparency and accountability. In a major anti-corruption action, investigative agencies arrested another senior officer in connection with the alleged siphoning of government funds. Separate anti-corruption operations also led to the arrest of a government clerk accused of accepting a bribe. These actions reflect continued efforts to improve governance and public trust in government institutions.
