Awareness about COVID-19 on Friday Congregation, Doda (Jammu)

During Friday congregations “Imams” of all Jamia Masjids of Doda district delivered speeches on Coronavirus. People were educated about the COVID 19 and also advised them to take preventive measures like washing hands and keeping distance from each other and avoid creating crowed.
Earlier all the religious heads of Doda district had a meeting with district administration and discussed the role of religious heads in educating the masses regarding COVID 19. Religious heads assured the administration that full cooperation will be provided to the district administration in spreading the awareness among masses from religious places.
Imam Jamia Masjid while talking to media said that if the prevailing situation of Corona continues they will appeal the people to offer Friday prayers in all Mohalla Masjids instead of Jamia Masjids. He prayed for the early recovery of those who are affected by the virus.
