Haryana Energy Minister, Mr. Ranjit Singh said that the Department has successfully reduced 2 percent power line losses over the last few months. Currently, the department is generating a profit of approximately Rs. 1500 crore. Under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, the State Government is providing electricity to cow shelters in the state at the rate of Rs. 2 per unit. The primary objective of the government is to ensure uninterrupted and affordable electricity for the residents.
Mr. Ranjit Singh shared this information while addressing the gathering after inauguration of Hydroponics Feeder Plant at the Kamdhenu Arogya Wellness Sansthan in Bissar-Akbarpur village , Tauru on Sunday. During this event, he also visited the Kamdhenu Arogya Sansthan and Gowdham, where he personally fed green fodder and jaggery to cows.
The Minister highlighted various policies and measures taken by the state government to support cow shelters. These include the establishment of the Haryana Gau Seva Aayog and the implementation of new laws for cow protection. Additionally, the state government is providing financial assistance to cowsheds for procuring fodder and other necessities.
Dr. SP Gupta, the founder of the Kamdhenu Arogya Wellness Sansthan said that hydroponic fodder plants produce sprouted grains used as feed for cows, resulting in pure cow’s milk. This innovative approach also aids in enhancing the cows’ health by compensating for any deficiencies in fiber and protein in their diet through hydroponically grown sprouted fodder.
