Popular stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava passes away at 58. He suffered a sudden heart attack on August 10 following which he was rushed to AIIMS Delhi.
Raju Srivastava dies: Raju Srivastava, a well-known stand-up comedian, died at the age of 58. He had a sudden heart attack on August 10 and was sent to AIIMS Delhi as a result. The actor was placed on life support and sent right away to the intensive care unit. Even days after having a heart attack, he did not regain consciousness for more than a month, and despite the efforts of the physicians, his condition was becoming worse. He experienced brain damage as a result of the heart attack, according to doctors.
On December 25, 1963, he was born Satya Prakash Srivastava and adopted the stage name, Raju. Due to his well-known deeds, he was sometimes given the name Gajodhar. Raju, a Kanpur native and member of a middle-class family, has always aspired to be a comedian. He made his stand-up comedy debut on the talent competition The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, where he came in second place. He took part in and won “The King of Comedy” in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions.
Both in India and overseas, Raju Srivastava gave performances. He has performed in a few Bollywood movies, such as Maine Pyar Kiya from Rajshri Productions and other tiny parts in well-known movies like Baazigar and Bombay to Goa.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath telephoned Raju Srivastava’s wife Shikha to enquire about his health and offered support.
His group, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, included him. When Raju took part in Bigg Boss Season 3 and Nach Baliye Season 6, he also acquired a lot of followers. Additionally, he had an appearance on Comedy Nights with Kapil.
