Fear spread across Top City Colony on Qadian Road in Batala after two unidentified youths on a motorcycle opened fire outside a residential house during the early hours of Sunday.
According to family members, the incident occurred at around 2:00 a.m. The attackers arrived on a motorcycle and fired six shots at the house. The bullets struck the main gate and shattered window panes, causing damage to the property. Thankfully, no one suffered any injuries.
Residents woke up to the sound of gunfire and rushed to understand what had happened. The two youths quickly fled the area after carrying out the attack.
Police officers reached the scene soon after receiving information about the incident. Investigators inspected the house, collected evidence, and started searching for clues that could help identify the suspects. Authorities are also examining CCTV footage from nearby locations to track the movement of the attackers.
