Court Complex Evacuated After Threatening Email
A bomb threat at the Fatehabad District Court on Friday triggered a major security response, forcing authorities to evacuate the entire court complex as a precaution. Officials received the threatening message on the Sessions Court’s official email account, prompting police and the district administration to activate emergency security protocols immediately. Court proceedings were temporarily suspended while judges, lawyers, staff members, and visitors were safely evacuated from the premises.
Police quickly secured all entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access. The administration urged people to remain calm while security agencies carried out a detailed inspection of the complex. Authorities stated that public safety remained their top priority throughout the operation.
Dog Squad and Bomb Disposal Team Conduct Thorough Search
Following the alert, a dog squad and bomb disposal squad from Hisar were deployed to the Fatehabad court complex. The specialized teams conducted an extensive search of courtrooms, offices, corridors, parking areas, and surrounding locations to detect any suspicious object or explosive material.
Police officers assisted the teams by restricting public movement around the court premises and ensuring that the search operation proceeded without interruption. Officials followed all standard security procedures before allowing normal activities to resume.

Superintendent of Police Nikita Khattar reached the court complex soon after the threat was reported and reviewed the security arrangements. She instructed officers to maintain maximum vigilance and conduct a comprehensive investigation into the source of the threatening email. Senior police officials remained at the site to monitor the operation and coordinate with forensic and cyber experts.
