The incident took place on Wednesday evening at the office of Jai Ambe Plywood Hardware and Construction Private Limited in Gholumajra village near Lalru. According to police, an argument over a family-related business dispute escalated into violence when Sahil allegedly opened fire on his uncle, Rahul Malik (45), a property dealer and resident of SBP Derabassi.

After the shooting, Sahil allegedly placed the injured Rahul Malik in a vehicle and fled from the spot. Investigators said he also removed the DVR of the office CCTV system before escaping.
