RECOVERED ARMS AND AMMUNITION

Doda Police arrested one Raqib Alam age 22 yrs S/o Seraj Din R/o Village Suhanda Tehsil and District Doda, who is associated as active OGW with militant’s organization of HM Outfit. The name of this OGW was surfaced during questioning of militant namely Tanveer Ahmed who was arrested a couple of days back by SOG Doda /Army in a Joint operation in village Sheikhpura of Tantna Gundna and Case FIR No 82/220 U/S 120-B. 122 IPC, 7/25 IAA, Unlawful activities was registered at PS Doda with regard to his arrest. Preliminary questioning of OGW Raqib Ahmed reveals that earlier he was closely associated with Haroon Abass R/o Ghat Doda a terrorist of HM outfit and after the killing of terrorist Haroon Abass by Security forces, he was working with Tanveer Ahmed (Arrested Militant). During course of further investigation it surfaced that OGW Raqib Ahmed had concealed, 01 Chinese Pistol, 01 Mag. Pistol, 04 Rounds (7.65 mm), 01 Wireless set alongwith Antenna under thick vegetation nearby his house in village Suhanda Doda which recovered on his disclosure by Doda Police today at around 15:00 hrs. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
