Tension gripped Rohtak district after unidentified individuals reportedly opened fire outside the office of Congress MLA Balram Dangi. The incident took place at the legislator’s office in the Meham area, prompting an immediate police response and heightened security measures in the region.
According to preliminary reports, several gunshots were fired near the office premises. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, and neither the MLA nor any staff members were harmed. Witnesses in the area reported hearing loud gunfire, following which panic briefly spread among local residents and visitors present near the office.
Police teams rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the firing. Officers cordoned off the area and launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible. Forensic experts were also called in to collect evidence, including spent cartridges and CCTV footage from nearby locations.
