The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has announced that the registration process for the September–October 2026 Haryana Open School (HOS) examinations will begin on June 23, 2026. The registration drive will cover students appearing for Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) examinations through the Haryana Open School system.
According to board officials, the registration process will also include candidates applying under the Open Chance To Pass (OCTP) scheme, which provides an opportunity for students who were unable to clear one or more subjects in previous examinations to improve their results without having to reappear for the entire examination.
The Haryana Open School system is designed to provide flexible learning opportunities for students who are unable to pursue regular schooling due to personal, financial, or other reasons. Through this initiative, thousands of students across the state are able to continue their education and obtain recognized academic qualifications.
BSEH has advised candidates to complete their registration within the prescribed timeline to avoid late fees and last-minute complications. Students will be able to submit their applications through the board’s official online portal, where detailed guidelines regarding eligibility, examination fees, required documents, and important dates will be made available.
Education officials stated that the Open School programme plays a crucial role in increasing access to education and reducing dropout rates in Haryana. The board has also urged students to carefully verify all information before submitting their applications to ensure a smooth examination process.
The September–October examinations are expected to benefit thousands of learners across Haryana, including fresh candidates and students seeking to improve their academic performance through the OCTP scheme.
